Vaping

Hey everyone It's Hadassah again but instead of doing what I normally do which is talk about my day am here to reflect on the topic Vaping . Now me, am not really exposed to these type of things but someone told me that it was a topic to discuss and I was like Ok!

So the real question is what is Vaping?

Now Vaping is the inhaling of a vapour from a catridge(container which inserts substances into a machine) which has Nicotine, flavorings and  through the E- cigarette is another word for Electronic cigarette  and it stimulates tobacco smoking and the process  what we call Vaping.

This is what it looks like:

Imagine and he is not even feeling guilty American parents dont do a good job sometimes with their children.

Now I read it was created by some guys named Hon Link and Herbert A. Gilbert in the year 2003 but it was mainly Hon Link  and he was a Chinese pharmacist I don't know what he was thinking when he invented it but some people see it as a blessing knowing it's less harmful than   direct smoking but it's still not (OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE VAPING HAS KILLED PEOPLE TOO !).

People do know that it may lead to lung damage and other problems but they just deny it and think that it will help their depression or whatever but it truly dosen't instead it takes them on a suicide mission.

There are different kinds of e-cigarettes. But many people use the Juul. This e-cigarette looks like a flash drive and can be charged in a laptop's USB port. It makes less smoke than other e-cigarettes, so some teens use them to vape at home and in school. The Juul pod's nicotine levels are the same as in a full pack of cigarettes. That's crazy if you ask me!

Nicotine affects the brain development. And that will make it harder to learn and to concentrate for young people ( like me but am not saying am like them!) . Some of the brain changes are permanent and can affect the mood of a person and control your pulses in the future as an adult (I mean who would ever want that in their lives) .

To stop Vaping you can do the following:

  • Decide why you want to quit and write it down or put it in your phone. Look at the reason(s) when you feel the urge to vape.
  • Pick a day to stop vaping. Put it on the calendar and tell supportive friends and family that you're quitting on that day.
  • Get rid of all vaping supplies.
  • Download tools (such as apps and texting programs) to your phone that can help with cravings and give encouragement while you try to stop vaping.
  • Understand withdrawal. Nicotine addiction leads to very strong cravings for nicotine. It can also lead to:
    • headaches
    • feeling tired, cranky, angry, or depressed
    • trouble concentrating
    • trouble sleeping
    • hunger

    • restlessness

So I hope with all I have mentioned I have been able to advice you and knock the knowledge of this topic into you thanks and see you next time.
